The Space Needle was amazing. It's impossible to tell just how high it really is until you're up there and can see for yourself. Jason wasn't impressed by looking at the Space Needle from the ground, but once we made it up the elevator he was amazed by the height and the spectacular 360 degree views! I was a little nervous, especially because the elevator ride is 40 seconds long and you can feel the cart shaking...but it was so worth it, what a great experience!

Adventures in Seattle- July 8th-10th 2008
We definitely took advantage of having plenty of time to explore Seattle, Washington. We road a shuttle provided by our hotel (The Radisson) to right in the middle of downtown and spent the rest of the time on foot. We walked all around downtown, and stopped at Anthony's Pier 66 for an early dinner (and the best clam chowder ever!), and even had a chance to check out the famous Pike's Fish Market before hopping on the monorail to experience going up in the Space Needle!
